malcolmeffectHas your muse ever had a thought so dark, so macabre that they never dare share it with anyone? Conversely, has anyone ever made a vile threat towards you muse out of anger, frustration, honest to God malice?
“Dr. Malcolm I will make you regret telling my uncle.” Ludlow was furious.
“And the truth?” Ian asked.
“Your truth?” Ludlow turned snide. “Not even my uncle believes you.”
“Uh… no, you’re the only one who questions my advice.” Ian corrected.
“Your advice is useless.” Ludlow smirked. “How much would it take to destroy your career Dr. Malcolm?”
“Are you threatening me?” Ian was shocked by the accusation.
“No. I’m telling you the consequences.” Ludlow was stern in his stance.
“We’ll have to see if you can manage to keep your word.” Ian headed for the stairs to see Hammond.
